Family tradition

King Cole tea bags have been a staple of my husband's family for generations. We live in the States, and rarely get to New Brunswick now, so it's wonderful to be able to buy these in bulk from East Coast Catalog. No other black tea compares!

This tea ALONE is a reason to emigrate

My first introduction to King Cole was during a vacation in Alma, NB. As we so often do, my wife and I each ordered iced tea. After the first sip, we looked at each other and said, "Wow!" Calling our server over, I inquired as to the type/brand of tea, to which she replied, "It's our local New Brunswick brand." SInce that first sip, King Cole has been our ONLY brand of tea - both regular and decaf (which is the ONLY decaf tea that actually tastes like tea). SInce that vacation, every vacation to Canada includes a trip to Sobey's, IGA or other supermarket to stock up. For the long in-between times - which to this Maritme province-loving American are always WAY too long - I was SO happy to find East Coast Catalogue. It's a great day when that big box arrives in the mail. When that happens, my coworkers also have a great day because they know I'll soon be refilling the tea jar in our office cafe with, as they call it, "that fantastic Canadian tea".

The best cup of tea ever

My dear Auntie Claire introduced me to drinking tea in the morning, a tradition I carry on every morning. A friend gave me a sample of King Cole Tea 16 years ago and I was hooked. It is easily the best "milk and sugar" tea I've ever had. I buy it 240 bags x 4 boxes each time. I share my tea generously with fellow tea drinkers and have converted quite a few.

You know you are an Eastener when.......

Any person from the East Coast knows what King Cole Tea is. The majority of us know the history behind the company Barbour's founded in 1867. Maybe not a tea drinker as a child....we Easteners soon acquire a taste for as my mother would say....a good old cup of tea. We were transferred to Alberta in 1989. Not only did we leave behind our precious ocean, we left many products that are exclusively East Coast, one being King Cole Tea. We are fortunate that each year we go HOME and enjoy all that the East Coast has to offer. While travelling I take an empty suitcase with me so I can......load up on all the goodies I need. Going through airport security is always an eventful experience. They XRay my extra suitcase and say...Excuse me, what are you carrying in this bag?
Answer. King Cole Tea. He says....not the first time I have seen this......got to get me some of that!!!
That is my story. I could in fact add an additional item, Chichen Bones.....another time...another place.

Tea for Who?

Living in the states, it's almost impossible to get a good cup of tea. We don't have King Cole (that I can find) and the water is never hot enough (except at home). I ordered 2 boxes of King Cole Tea to be shipped to my sister as a birthday present. East Coast Catalog was a pleasure to deal with and I couldn't have found a better present for my sister. Thanks East Coast Catalog!
